Despite what you may have heard, there is MORE THAN MAGIC MOUNTAIN in the Santa Clarita Valley…and we are here to tell you about it!

Anyone who has ever lived or worked in Santa Clarita Valley will admit that we are tired of people associating SCV only with Magic Mountain. We have to admit that with 15 Thrill Rides and over 100 rides total, this Six Flags Theme Park and Hurricane Harbor is the number 1 amusement park for Six Flags in the Nation.

We locals are very proud of our beautiful valley.  Just 30 minutes from downtown and still in Los Angeles County.  We are a beautiful family oriented suburb in the Mountains, smog-free with easy access to the gorgeous beaches of Ventura County. We have one of the most renowned bass fishing lakes with water and jet skiing in the upper lake.  Did you know that Santa Clarita Valley is where:

The First Gold was discovered
The First Oil was drilled
Is the site of the First Film Locations

Rich with history, this fast growing community is home to over 150,000 residents and 8,000 businesses. See, there is more than Magic Mountain!   Shall we continue?

You ask who are these crazies and why are they so passionate about SCV?  We are five women who work and live in SCV and we have so much to share that we started this blog. Come to the area named as one of the Top Ten Best Places to Live in the United States: The Santa Clarita Valley, where people come first.   Anything and everything there is to do in addition to Magic Mountain will be available right here.  We consider ourselves experts in these topics (mind you this is our opinions) and will write about SCV and update you on a regular basis.
